Quarter 1 | 2026

Welcome 2026!

It is hard to believe that the first quarter of 2026 has ended. While we still have a lot to look forward to this year, let's share the celebrations of Q1 together!

Did you watch March Madness this year? You might have spotted this clip to the right!

TOP 5: Updates from Q1

1. 50th anniversay celebrations

Roers continues to expand its presence throughout the region, with a team-oriented approach. With offices and team members across multiple markets, the company remains focused on creating projects that are durable, efficient, and designed for long-term success.

“This celebration is not just about the company, but the people behind the projects. I am proud to drive throughout the region and see the impact our team has had on communities” – Jim Roers

To commemorate this milestone, Roers will host community celebrations throughout the summer:

  • May 13 – Fargo Celebration at The Lights in West Fargo
  • June 10 – Dickinson Celebration at Phat Fish Brewery
  • August 12 – Bismarck/Minot Celebration at the new Bismarck office which will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony

Keep your eye out for your invite via mail! RSVP to online, visit our Facebook page or RSVP on our website here.

2. Roers east: lashkowitz & Blueline Development/Fargo Housing Authority Partnership

We are finishing up Lashkowitz and were selected as the CM for their new 65-unit  affordable housing project currently called 14-4 Apartments in Fargo that will start sometime this summer.

The Alex Rubick/Al Sondrol team has done a great job providing the Roers’ Experience on Lashkowitz and a that along with our Expertise are the main reasons why we were selected for 14-4.

To see more about this project, visit the Lashkowitz project page here.

3. RW: project updates

Roers West has been hard at work across multiple projects, with exciting progress happening in every region. Out in Medora, both the Medora Musical Audio Structure and the Medora Event Barn are moving forward on schedule, thanks to the dedication and expertise of our team.

Meanwhile, construction on our Bismarck office continues to advance smoothly. We’re thrilled to share that the new space is on track for a grand opening on August 12, 2026. A milestone we’re looking forward to celebrating with the community.

4. rpmr: renewal season updates

A Recap from Lindsey O’Driscoll, General Manager

January and February marked a busy leasing season for our North Fargo properties. With a renewal goal of 50% at each location, we’re proud to share that we successfully reached that milestone across all North Fargo properties which include 1919 Flats, Bison Arms, FRH, R&T, and Wisent Townhomes.

Leasing is still underway at all of our properties in Fargo and Dickinson, so there are plenty of opportunities for new residents to join our communities. Plus, don’t forget, when you refer someone to live with us, you can earn a $250 referral bonus! Click here to refer someone today!

5. roers real estate: Fargo Moorhead Real Estate Market Update

A message from Anne Kallhoff, Roers Real Estate Agent

The Fargo-Moorhead real estate market continues to stay active as we move into the spring season. One notable shift is that inventory is moving faster, with well-priced homes and investment properties seeing strong interest and quicker turnaround times. Buyers are staying engaged, and opportunities are still out there—but timing and strategy are becoming more important than ever.

Another exciting development is a new mortgage rate relief program, offering interest rates starting as low as 4.875%for qualified buyers. This is creating a great window of opportunity for those who may have been waiting on the sidelines due to higher rates, helping improve affordability and buying power.

If you’d like more information about this program or want to see if you qualify, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to walk you through the details.

Whether you’re thinking about buying, selling, or investing, I’d love to help you navigate the current market and make the most of the opportunities available

Employee interview

Bryce Osksa

project manager

minot

get to know him:

1. Introduce yourself (Name, Title, and Length of Time with Roers):

  • My name is Bryce Osksa and I am a Project Manager. I have been with Roers for 2.5 years.

2. What does a day in your role entail?

  • A day in my role consists of starting the day with getting caught up on emails and making a list of tasks I need to get done. After that, I spend a large portion of my day gathering submittals from subcontractors and reviewing them. When not reviewing submittals, I am typically answering subcontractor questions, attending OAC or subcontractor meetings, submitting RFI’s, working on material procurement, or helping Matt with estimating.

3. What is your favorite core value and why?

  • Opportunity. My favorite core value is opportunity. At Roers we get the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects, which keeps the work both challenging and rewarding. Each project brings new problems to solve and new teams, which keeps me engaged and allows me to improve my skillset. I am grateful to have the opportunity to try and grow Roers’ further into Montana.

4. What is a fun fact about you outside of work?

  • Some fun facts about me are that I am a twin, I enjoy traveling, and I love watching sports and cheering on anyone but the Bison!

5. Last but not least, what is your favorite part of your position or working for Roers?

  • My favorite part about working for Roers is the family-oriented culture. Everyone is willing to help each other out whether it’s helping on a project to meet a deadline, offering advice, or even helping one another outside of work. It’s contagious and creates a positive work environment that people want to be a part of for a long time.

Jacob Dettling

roers construction

Fargo

Construction Intern

Jacob took a tough phone call from me the other day. "I need you to stop an imminently dangerous activity on your site, I can see on the camera, roofers without fall protection." Without missing a beat, this young man was using his outdoor voice to shut these unsafe workers down, WITH AUTHORITY! He didn't wait and see, he didn't take no for an answer, he did what needed to be done and he may have prevented a serious injury or fatality. Jacob is always grinning, and that glowing personality lift morale on site. He is thirsty for knowledge and heading towards a great career in construction. If we had to describe this team member in one word, it would be Ambitious. He joined Roers with strong trim and finish experience, but quickly pushed himself far beyond his comfort zone. From stepping into rough framing on the Lashkowitz project—to learning PEMB Butler Building assemblies and even trying his hand at concrete, he has shown incredible adaptability and drive. He learns quickly, thinks through solutions before asking questions, and brings a great attitude wherever he’s needed. He has become a versatile team member who jumps at every opportunity to grow. His positive attitude and eagerness to grow have made him a reliable and well-rounded member of the Roers team. Behind his glacier-blue eyes is someone who came to Roers ready to learn, grow, and tackle anything thrown his way.

success in the office

Jenna Abraham

Roers Management

Fargo

Marketing Property Specialist

If we had to describe this team member in one word, it would be Dependable. Since joining Roers, she has become someone every department can count on. She spent her first two years providing exceptional support to property management, offering consistent communication, professionalism, and a positive experience for the entire team. When her role expanded company-wide in 2025, she brought that same level of expertise and organization to all of Roers. From branding and marketing projects to events, promotions, and more, she keeps everything running smoothly—most of it behind the scenes. During our busiest season of turnover for property management, she jumps in wherever help is needed: covering offices, supporting leasing, assisting with events, completing move-outs, or working late to open buildings. She responds quickly, stays on top of deadlines, and always brings a friendly, team-first attitude. She does not push back—she simply helps. Organized, reliable, and always supportive, she is a true team player.

success in the field

Ethan Saunders

roers construction

Fargo

project engineer - field

If we had to describe this award recipient in one word, it would be helpful. He’s always ready to jump in, fill a gap, and do whatever the team needs to keep the project moving forward. Since joining Roers, he has filled a vital role — especially this summer. He stepped up on our civil-heavy projects, operated machinery whenever needed, and helped cover the void without hesitation while another team member was injured. He also took initiative by earning his Class Unrestricted license, allowing him to assist every job site by hauling equipment and keeping operations running efficiently. His reliability quickly made him a go-to resource across multiple sites. He has grown into a strong field leader. His steady presence and willingness to guide others made a difference on every project he touched — especially on Lashkowitz during framing. His drive, work ethic, and commitment to growth have made him an invaluable member of the Roers field team.

success in the field

Jim Brakke

roers construction

fargo

superintendent ii

If we had to describe this team member in one word, it would be dedicated. After 15 years with Roers, he continues to lead with a can-do attitude and a level of commitment that sets the bar for everyone around him. He’s truly a company man who bleeds Roers red. This summer at Kwik Trip, he showed exactly what that dedication looks like. Even during long, demanding weeks, he pushed the crew forward, kept morale steady, and led by example through every challenge. He provides a plan every morning for each person to follow and gives clear expectations for where we should be at the end of the day—always keeping the project moving in the right direction. This team member leads with intention and integrity. He pushes his crew to be their best and never asks anyone to do something he wouldn’t do himself. Whether he’s coordinating, problem-solving, or putting on his tools to jump in, he does whatever it takes to get the job done.

community service

Mack Buck

roers management

Fargo

Safety Manager

If we had to describe this Community Servant in one word, it would be committed. His dedication to serving others shows up in everything he does—both in the community and here at Roers. He is actively involved with Heroes Compass, a nonprofit supporting veterans and first responders, and even earned an Honorable Mention for his wings at their 1st Annual Wing Cook-Off. This past September, he encouraged co-workers to use their VTO to walk with him in the 2.2-mile Suicide Awareness Prevention walk, helping bring attention to an important cause. He has also volunteered his time answering phones during the Radiothon for Sanford Children’s Hospital. He helps a local church when they change light bulbs from a scissor lift annually as well. Inside Roers, he is the dependable “honorary member” of nearly every committee and a key part of the United Way team—especially in engaging field crew members in the campaign. His reliability, compassion, and service-minded attitude make a real difference.

safety champion

Matt Leidy

roers west

Bismarck

superintendent i

If we had to describe this year’s Safety Champion in one word, it would be Prepared. No matter the project, he is always scanning for hazards, correcting near misses, and ensuring every task begins and ends with safety in mind. This team member looks out for everyone on site—Roers employees and subcontractors. He consistently submits near-miss forms, makes on-the-spot corrections, and steps in immediately when something isn’t safe. As a dedicated member of the Safety Committee, he brings ideas, real-world concerns, and meaningful solutions to the table. He recently gathered information on a new hard hat offering, demonstrating again that he’s always thinking ahead and advocating for the well-being of our teams. With him, safety is never an afterthought—it’s the priority. His diligence, care, and leadership have made our job sites safer and our people better protected every single day.

Opportunity
Hats off to Lexi and Dakotah for stepping outside their comfort zones and representing Roers on a Facebook Live segment with Y94 to showcase The Skyline. They gave the radio personality a tour of one of the units while highlighting the location, amenities, and the unique opportunity of being the first to live in a brand-new space. While being on camera can be nerve-wracking, they handled it with confidence and professionalism. They did an outstanding job embodying Roers’ core values of opportunity, expertise, and experience, and represented the team exceptionally well.
Respect
Gavin brings a tremendous energy to the Roers' team. He is always willing to stop, listen, and learn and we appreciate that mentality.
Expertise
Luke has been heavily involved on the architectural side across numerous projects. This continued growth presents a great opportunity for us to further develop and bring more of this work in-house, strengthening our capabilities as a team.
Experiences
The Project Managers have had a strong start to the year, consistently demonstrating Roers’ core values in their daily interactions with project owners. From projects like Lashkowitz, COVE, Medora, Dakota II Apartments, Engle Court Apartments, and Burleigh County, the team continues to showcase the importance of clear communication and trusted expertise. Their ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex projects is a key driver of our success. The level of knowledge and professionalism our Project Managers bring to each project truly sets Roers apart.
Community
The Roers Throw-Back Chili feed was a great event for employees to get together for a friendly competition of a chili cook off all while giving back to the community through donations given to the United Way and also honoring our long time partnership with the organization.
Partnership
New and future members of our construction team from across the state recently participated in a crane training at our main office in Fargo. This hands-on training helped expand our team’s capabilities, and we’re excited to see them put their new skills to work out in the field!
