Employee interview

Alexia Mccoy

Senior Leasing Agent

roers property mangement

get to know her:

1. Introduce yourself (Name, Title, and Length of Time with Roers):

  • My name is Alexia McCoy and I am the Senior Leasing Agent for RPM-R! I have worked for the company for a little over two years.

2. What does a day in your role entail?

  • If you ask anyone on the RPM-R team, they’ll probably tell you, no two days are ever the same! We’re the go to team for just about everything, answering resident questions, handling day to day concerns, taking calls, and giving showings to prospective residents. We also coordinate move outs and make sure every unit is move in ready when a new resident arrives. You’ll often find us walking the buildings and property, keeping an eye on things to ensure everything looks great and runs smoothly. As the Senior Leasing Agent, I do have a few other responsibilities, like handling the majority of training with the new leasing agents, prepping renewal offers for our residents, and reviewing resident ledgers each month. There is so much more that we get to be a part of but I decided to keep it simple.

3. What is your favorite core value and why?

  • Opportunity – whether it’s volunteering, training, or learning something new each day. These experiences have played a big role in my personal and professional growth.

4. What is a fun fact about you outside of work?

  • A quick fun fact about me would be that each year I have the opportunity to go on a Wagon Train in Montana. I have been going for about 10 years now, so I have gotten close with the other people who decide to join it!

5. Last but not least, what is your favorite part of your position or working for Roers?

  • What I enjoy most about my position at Roers is the variety it offers. I’ve had the chance to take on additional responsibilities, like working with the Lindseys and maintenance on turnover inspections and working alongside marketing. These added roles allow me to continuously learn and feel more connected to different aspects of the company’s operations. All of this makes my work feel more meaningful.

Respect
Dalton works well with RPMR. Working with him on The Metropolitan has made it so smooth. He respects ua and listens to our crazy ideas and needs of the building. He faces every issue head on and is doing a great job with the team at The Metropolitan. I was grateful to be working alongside him during this building opening.
