Company Newsletter
Quarter 4 | 2025

That's a wrap on 2025!

2025 flew by. 2026 is well underway and we are celebrating roers 50 year anniversary.

Check out the video that was shared at the all company meeting celebrating 50 years of roers.

TOP 4: Updates from Q4

1. All Company Meeting and Holiday Party

One of our favorite times of the year happened at the beginning of December 2025. A time where all areas and divisions of the company meet under one roof and recap everything that has happened during the year. 2025, like any year, was a big year for us at ROERS. Each division head shared an updates on upcoming projects, current projects, completed projects and current pursuits!

Before we dove into our 2025 recap, we had the pleasure of listening to David Wood and Shawn Kessel discuss the 7 Habits of Effective People. They discussed year of the 7 habits in detail and had a great on stage demonstration.

After an afternoon filled with updates, our team had the chance to kick back and relax during our annual holiday party that evening. This year’s theme was “The Great Outdoors”. The stage transformed into a camping scene, while the tables were decorated perfectly around the room. We had the pleasure of having a magician walk around during social hour and perform on stage for our employees. To mix things up, we had a variety of games with fantastic participation from all employees. Thank you to everyone who joined us and stay tuned for 2026 events.

2. Roers east: kwik trip/kwik stars

Our construction team was busy working with a tight deadline for the Moorhead and Fargo Kwik Trip/Kwik Star.

Both projects were a quick turnaround and were completed on time for the grand openings.

We are excited to work with Kwik Trip again as we tackle another location in Fargo soon!

3. RW:

3. rpmr: renewal season

A recap from Lindsey O’Driscoll, General Manager

We are currently in the heat of renewal season for our North Fargo properties. Our goal every year is to be at 100% full and provide a premier experience to all residents and future residents.

Our Fargo and Dickinson teams are currently hiring for leasing agents. If you know someone looking for a job, have them apply today.

4. roers real estate: Fargo Moorhead Real Estate Market Update

A message from Anne Kallhoff, Roers Real Estate Agent

The Fargo–Moorhead real estate market continues to show steady activity as we move through the season, with both buyers and sellers adjusting to a more balanced landscape.

Inventory levels remain relatively tight in many price points, particularly for well-maintained homes in desirable neighborhoods. Properties that are priced appropriately and presented well are still seeing strong interest, while homes that miss the mark on pricing or condition may take longer to sell.

Buyer demand is consistent, though buyers are more thoughtful and selective than in recent years. Many are prioritizing value, condition, and long-term livability. As a result, inspections, negotiations, and thoughtful offers have become a more important part of the process again.

Interest rates continue to influence buyer behavior, but they have not stopped activity. Instead, we’re seeing buyers adapt—using creative financing options, rate buy-downs, and focusing on homes that meet both lifestyle and budget needs.

New construction remains an important part of the market, offering buyers modern layouts and energy efficiency, while existing homes with updates and strong curb appeal continue to perform well.

Overall, the Fargo–Moorhead market is stable and healthy, favoring those who work with a clear strategy. Whether buying or selling, success today comes from smart pricing, strong preparation, and expert guidance.

If you’re considering a move—or simply want to understand how today’s market impacts your goals—now is a great time to have a conversation.

Construction Intern

Jacob took a tough phone call from me the other day. "I need you to stop an imminently dangerous activity on your site, I can see on the camera, roofers without fall protection." Without missing a beat, this young man was using his outdoor voice to shut these unsafe workers down, WITH AUTHORITY! He didn't wait and see, he didn't take no for an answer, he did what needed to be done and he may have prevented a serious injury or fatality. If we had to describe this team member in one word, it would be Ambitious. He joined Roers with strong trim and finish experience, but quickly pushed himself far beyond his comfort zone. From stepping into rough framing on the Lashkowitz project—to learning PEMB Butler Building assemblies and even trying his hand at concrete, he has shown incredible adaptability and drive. He learns quickly, thinks through solutions before asking questions, and brings a great attitude wherever he’s needed. He has become a versatile team member who jumps at every opportunity to grow. His positive attitude and eagerness to grow have made him a reliable and well-rounded member of the Roers team. Behind his glacier-blue eyes is someone who came to Roers ready to learn, grow, and tackle anything thrown his way.

success in the office

Jenna Abraham

Roers Management

Fargo

Marketing Property Specialist

If we had to describe this team member in one word, it would be Dependable. Since joining Roers, she has become someone every department can count on. She spent her first two years providing exceptional support to property management, offering consistent communication, professionalism, and a positive experience for the entire team. When her role expanded company-wide in 2025, she brought that same level of expertise and organization to all of Roers. From branding and marketing projects to events, promotions, and more, she keeps everything running smoothly—most of it behind the scenes. During our busiest season of turnover for property management, she jumps in wherever help is needed: covering offices, supporting leasing, assisting with events, completing move-outs, or working late to open buildings. She responds quickly, stays on top of deadlines, and always brings a friendly, team-first attitude. She does not push back—she simply helps. Organized, reliable, and always supportive, she is a true team player.

success in the field

Ethan Saunders

roers construction

Fargo

project engineer - field

If we had to describe this award recipient in one word, it would be helpful. He’s always ready to jump in, fill a gap, and do whatever the team needs to keep the project moving forward. Since joining Roers, he has filled a vital role — especially this summer. He stepped up on our civil-heavy projects, operated machinery whenever needed, and helped cover the void without hesitation while another team member was injured. He also took initiative by earning his Class Unrestricted license, allowing him to assist every job site by hauling equipment and keeping operations running efficiently. His reliability quickly made him a go-to resource across multiple sites. He has grown into a strong field leader. His steady presence and willingness to guide others made a difference on every project he touched — especially on Lashkowitz during framing. His drive, work ethic, and commitment to growth have made him an invaluable member of the Roers field team.

success in the field

Jim Brakke

roers construction

fargo

superintendent ii

If we had to describe this team member in one word, it would be dedicated. After 15 years with Roers, he continues to lead with a can-do attitude and a level of commitment that sets the bar for everyone around him. He’s truly a company man who bleeds Roers red. This summer at Kwik Trip, he showed exactly what that dedication looks like. Even during long, demanding weeks, he pushed the crew forward, kept morale steady, and led by example through every challenge. He provides a plan every morning for each person to follow and gives clear expectations for where we should be at the end of the day—always keeping the project moving in the right direction. This team member leads with intention and integrity. He pushes his crew to be their best and never asks anyone to do something he wouldn’t do himself. Whether he’s coordinating, problem-solving, or putting on his tools to jump in, he does whatever it takes to get the job done.

community service

Mack Buck

roers management

Fargo

Safety Manager

If we had to describe this Community Servant in one word, it would be committed. His dedication to serving others shows up in everything he does—both in the community and here at Roers. He is actively involved with Heroes Compass, a nonprofit supporting veterans and first responders, and even earned an Honorable Mention for his wings at their 1st Annual Wing Cook-Off. This past September, he encouraged co-workers to use their VTO to walk with him in the 2.2-mile Suicide Awareness Prevention walk, helping bring attention to an important cause. He has also volunteered his time answering phones during the Radiothon for Sanford Children’s Hospital. He helps a local church when they change light bulbs from a scissor lift annually as well. Inside Roers, he is the dependable “honorary member” of nearly every committee and a key part of the United Way team—especially in engaging field crew members in the campaign. His reliability, compassion, and service-minded attitude make a real difference.

safety champion

Matt Leidy

roers west

Bismarck

superintendent i

If we had to describe this year’s Safety Champion in one word, it would be Prepared. No matter the project, he is always scanning for hazards, correcting near misses, and ensuring every task begins and ends with safety in mind. This team member looks out for everyone on site—Roers employees and subcontractors. He consistently submits near-miss forms, makes on-the-spot corrections, and steps in immediately when something isn’t safe. As a dedicated member of the Safety Committee, he brings ideas, real-world concerns, and meaningful solutions to the table. He recently gathered information on a new hard hat offering, demonstrating again that he’s always thinking ahead and advocating for the well-being of our teams. With him, safety is never an afterthought—it’s the priority. His diligence, care, and leadership have made our job sites safer and our people better protected every single day.
